Ian Robinson started the cello at age four because his parents said he was "too much trouble and needed something to do." Now he is a cellist and teacher in Nashville, TN. Ian went to Indiana University, where he was the last student of the legendary cellist Janos Starker. He went to grad school at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he received degrees in Cello Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy. In addition to teaching, Ian has a passion for recording in the studio. He has played on the soundtrack of major video games, TV shows and movies, such as Call of Duty, Sex and the City and American Underdog. Outside of music, Ian enjoys yoga, disc golf, and board games.
